How do I pay for college???Please visit the Local Scholarships tab for a list of the local scholarships available to seniors at Bourne High School. The list is organized by deadline and provides a short description of award eligibility.
Listed below is information for national scholarships and federal financial aid. A great resource throughout the financial aid process is MEFA, the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority. MEFA offers a variety of free webinars for students and families--check them out HERE! |
Financial Aid |
All students who are attending a college or university after high school should apply for financial aid through the FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA is available October 1st of the student's senior year and should be filled out as soon as possible thereafter.
Some private colleges and universities may also require the CSS Profile to gather some more detailed information about your finances before making an award decision.
There are also thousands of national scholarships available. Below are a few websites we recommend to search for state and national scholarships, and always remember, you should NEVER have to pay money to apply for a scholarship or financial aid.
